Who runs this site

The site is published by the team behind Prokam, a company that designs and sells pipe inspection cameras. Articles are edited by Matthew Hayes.

Disclosure

Because of this relationship, when a Prokam product appears in a guide, we say so on the page. We cover other brands (RIDGID, Spartan, General Pipe Cleaners, Milwaukee, Vivax-Metrotech and others) on the same criteria. We do not accept payment for placement.

How we compare equipment

Comparisons are based on manufacturer specifications, published documentation and a fixed checklist: head diameter, push rod type and stiffness, cable length, sonde frequency, self-leveling, recording and reporting features, warranty and service. When a claim comes from hands-on use, the article states it explicitly.
